Two Incredible Golf Days, One Amazing Cause – Thank You!
We were been blown away last month by not one, but two fantastic fundraising golf events organised in support of The Christian Blandford Fund – each one full of laughter, generosity, and community spirit.
The Stevens Golf Day – £7,102 Raised!
On a glorious day in Kent, Annie and Adrian Stevens opened their home and their hearts to host a brilliant CBF Golf Day. With 44 golfers on the course and 84 people sitting down for lunch, it was a day to remember.
A huge thank you to Annie, who did an extraordinary amount of work behind the scenes to make the day run so smoothly, and to Toby, who wrangled the golfers and the course with military precision. There were some serious golf skills on show – congrats to Max Kibblewhite, our overall winner, and to Paul Smith and Mark Gilbey for nearest-the-pin honours.
From raffle tickets and puddings to lake ball rescues, every little detail added up to a stunning £7,102 raised for the charity.

The Coombe Hill Golf Day – £10,000 Raised!
Not to be outdone, our very own trustee Darren Bowler hosted a spectacular charity golf day at the beautiful Coombe Hill Golf Club. The course was challenging, the weather held, and the generosity was overwhelming.
Thanks to Darren’s efforts—and the incredible support from players and the club—the event raised a phenomenal £10,000 for the Christian Blandford Fund. We’re so grateful to Darren, Coombe hill Golf Club and everyone involved in making the day such a success.
Making a Real Difference
Between these two events alone, an amazing £17,102 has been raised. That’s money going directly to help children in hospital and their families—whether it’s making a hospital environment feel less scary, or bringing a smile to a child facing treatment.
To Annie, Adrian, Darren, every single golfer, donor, raffle ticket buyer, pudding-maker and lake-ball-fisher—thank you. You’ve made a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful.
And yes… next year is already being talked about. We can’t wait.
